Seafood Staff connects skilled workers with Norwegian seafood producers. We are looking for reliable workers with production experience who want seasonal or long-term employment in Norway.

Job description

  • Work in seafood processing plants

  • Tasks such as filleting, cutting, packing, machine operation, and quality control

  • Seasonal or fixed contracts depending on production needs

Requirements

  • Previous experience in seafood, meat, or other food production

  • Team player with a responsible attitude

  • Flexible and efficient at work

  • HACCP food safety course (can be arranged through Seafood Staff if needed)

  • Forklift license is an advantage

  • Experience with Marel or Baader processing equipment is an advantage

  • Basic English or Norwegian is an advantage

Working conditions and benefits

  • Pay range: 180–200 NOK per hour

  • Overtime: 40% extra pay

  • Ordinary monthly working hours: approx. 150 hours

  • Overtime: 25 hours (non-union) / 50 hours (union)

  • Norwegian employment contract with 14 days’ notice period

  • 10.2% of salary paid as holiday allowance

  • Housing arranged, insurance included

  • Travel costs not covered for non-English-speaking workers

  • HACCP course arrangement if not already completed

Production worker – seafood industry (Norway)

Seafood Staff recruits motivated workers for seasonal and long-term jobs in the Norwegian seafood industry. For this role, we are looking for an English-speaking candidate who will also have some extra responsibility as a link between management and non-English-speaking workers.

Job description

  • Work in modern seafood production facilities in Norway

  • Processing, packing, and quality control

  • Support communication between management and workers

  • Assist with basic translation and coordination inside the team

  • Seasonal or long-term positions available

Requirements

  • Good English communication skills

  • Willingness to take responsibility and help colleagues

  • Reliable and flexible attitude

  • HACCP food safety course (can be arranged through Seafood Staff if needed)

  • Forklift license is an advantage

  • Experience with Marel or Baader equipment is an advantage

  • Previous experience in food or seafood production is a plus

  • Overtime: 40% extra pay

  • Ordinary monthly working hours: approx. 150 hours
